| Welcome!
I work with adults experiencing a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, PTSD, dissociation, and adult survivors of childhood physical and sexual abuse. I provide a compassionate, safe and respectful environment for you to explore the difficult and painful areas of your life. The overall goal is to help you draw upon your strength and internal wisdom to make the changes you need to discover more satisfying ways to live.
Education:
I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. I completed my practicum in the University's Psychological Services Center, working with clients from the University and Anchorage community. My internship was completed at Providence Alaska Medical Center working with adolescents and adults on the in-patient unit.
Licensure:
I have been licensed by the Alaska State Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners as a Psychological Associate. A Psychological Associate completes a two-year master's degree, passes a national exam (Exam for Professional Practice in Psychology, EPPP), a state ethics exam, and completes two-years of supervised practice under a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I completed supervised experience June 2006.
