Anchorage Trauma & Dissociation Study Group

The Anchorage Trauma & Dissociation Study Group meets monthly for education and peer support to therapists who treat complex post-traumatic and dissociative disorders.  The group was formed to provide a place for clinicians treating complex trauma and dissociative disorders to increase their knowledge and understanding of trauma, dissociation, and dissociative disorders.  It is our goal to provide a place in which colleagues can decrease isolation, share resources, update skills, decrease the impact of the work on the self of the therapist, and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice.  Supervision of members is not a function of the group.

The Anchorage Trauma & Dissociation Study Group was conferred component study group status by the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation (ISSTD) February 2007.  Please visit their website at www.isst-d.org.  Membership in the ISSTD is not required but is encouraged.

Group participation is limited to licensed professionals, agency clinicians, individuals under supervision for licensure, and students in a graduate counseling/psychology program.  To be considered for acceptance into the group please call Katie Fallin 278-5049 to obtain a membership form.
